About Kandy: Embark on a sightseeing
tour of Kandy which is a UNESCO world
heritage site. The historic city,
about 480m above sea level, is surrounded
by mountains. It was known to Sri
Lankans as Kanda Uda Rata, which means
the hill country. Kandy was home to
Sri Lanka's last independent Kingdom,
which survived two centuries of colonial
incursion before finally falling to
the British at the beginning of the
nineteenth century. Visit the Temple
of the Tooth, the royal Botanical
Gardens, the Peradeniya University
campus, and catch a panoramic view
of the picturesque town from Upper
Lake Drive. Early in the evening,
visit a Kandyan Dance performance
and be treated to a spectacular fire
walking finale. Kandy is also famous
for its shopping, gems and jewellery,
handicrafts, batiks, silks etc. You
will get the opportunity to shop to
your heart's content.
En route visit Pinawella Elephant

Day 2: Kandy - Nuwara
After Breakfast Kandy

Day 3: Nuwara Eliya
After Breakfast visit
Nuwara Eliya city tour including Sita
Eliya temple, thereafter proceed to
Bentota via Kithulgala,
Kitulgala, a small town in the west
of Sri Lanka. It is in the wet zone
rain forest, which gets two monsoons
each year, and is one of the wettest
places in the country. Nevertheless,
it comes alive in the first three
months of the year, especially in
February, the driest month. The Academy
Award-winning The Bridge on the River
Kwai was filmed on the Kelani River
near Kitulgala, although nothing remains
now except the concrete foundations
for the bridge. Kitulgala is also
a very popular base for white-water
rafting, which starts a few kilometres
upstream.Do some white water rafting
at Kithulgala Over night stay at Bentota.
Day 4: Bentota
After breakfast spends
the day at leisure on the Beach OR
Experience some water sports Activities

Then Bentota is the place to be. South
of Colombo, Sri Lanka's capital city,
Bentota, is one of the best coastal
spots in the world. Charming fishing

an elegant line of world class resorts,
much of Bentota's history is forgotten.

Day 5: Bentota -
After Breakfast transfer
to Colombo, Colombo sightseeing and
shopping. Overnight stay at Colombo.
